A Humanitarian Crisis

This winter will be extremely difficult for Ukrainians. Russian rockets and bombs are destroying power stations and heating in homes. 50% of the power grid is inoperable nationwide. Millions of families with children are living without electricity, heating, and running water. Average winter temperatures (Dec-Mar) in Ukraine are 23°F.
A New Initiative

This new initiative aims to "Heat Ukraine" for the winter and directly address humanitarian needs through our Life Center staff and volunteers who are already uniquely positioned to serve in multiple cities across Ukraine. These life-saving aid packages will be purchased by our teams and distributed directly to refugees and women in crisis.

In early December 2022, our team made deliveries of food and supplies to the recently-liberated Kherson region in Ukraine.

After the Ukrainian Government approached us to join in creating “Points of Invincibility” to provide warmth, electricity, running water, and food for those without access during the war and winter months, we joined by starting to convert designated spaces in our Ukrainian Life Centers!

Led by Yura Lesko, our Logistics Director, our team traveled to the recently-liberated Ukrainian city of Kherson for a second time to deliver supplies and groceries to survivors there.

With Your Generosity, our Ukrainian

Life Centers are Providing:

1x Power Generator: $1,000

A power generator allows a mother and children to have a backup power source. It will provide enough electricity to heat one whole family residence.
1x SpaceX Starlink Internet: $700

Once a family gets power again, these SpaceX internet systems operate independently and provide a family with satellite-based internet access.
1x Wood-Burning Stove: $100

As an alternate to power-driven heating systems, we are also distributing wood-burning stoves. These will heat one medium sized family home.
3x Hot Meals: $45

With our food distribution efforts alongside refugee camps well underway, we are looking for partners to fund hot meals for mothers, children, and babies.
1x Family-Sized Space Heater: $100

When power is available or restored but home heating systems have been destroyed in bombings, these space heaters provide emergency heating support.
1x Pre-Natal Vitamin Regimen: $40

With rampant food insecurity across Ukraine, these regimens provide expecting mothers with crucial pre-natal vitamin support for one month.
1x Power Charging Bank: $85

These power bank and battery systems allow families the flexibility of charging devices when power is available nearby but not in their homes due to bombings.
