Hope Grows When We Say "Yes": A Month of Lives Changed Across Our Life Centers

Every month, we are reminded that ministry is about so much more than programs or events. It is about people; women choosing life, families discovering hope, churches opening their doors, volunteers faithfully serving, and supporters around the world answering God's call to love their neighbors.
Throughout the past month, we witnessed God's faithfulness in beautiful ways across our Life Centers in Ukraine and Poland. From celebrating mothers and investing in our teams to equipping women through education and walking alongside families facing unimaginable challenges, each story is a reminder that God continues to transform lives through compassionate, Christ-centered care.
None of these moments happen by accident. They happen because faithful partners like you continue to pray, give, and stand with us.
Investing in the People Who Change Lives

One of the greatest highlights of the month was our Western Region Life Center Conference, held June 28 through July 1.
Thirty-two participants from our Life Centers in Chernivtsi, Mukachevo, Lviv, Rivne, and Truskavets gathered together for several days of learning, encouragement, prayer, fellowship, and collaboration.
These days were filled with opportunities to learn from one another, share experiences from each community, brainstorm new ideas, seek creative solutions, and pray together as one family united by a common mission.
When people who are changing lives every day come together, something greater than just a conference is created, because the greatest resource of any organization is not its buildings, projects, or even its budget, but its people.
The men and women who once said "yes" to God and have become the answer to someone's prayer.
One especially meaningful moment came as we welcomed Oleh Mykolayovych Bodnar, Regional Presbyter of the Lviv Region, who encouraged our teams with a message reminding us that we accomplish far more when we serve together in unity. As the conference continued, one truth became increasingly clear: Together, we can accomplish far more than any of us ever could alone.
Celebrating Mothers Who Continue to Grow

Life Centers are about much more than helping women through pregnancy. Our heart is to walk beside mothers long after their babies are born by helping them build confidence, find community, strengthen their faith, and create brighter futures for their families.
This month, we celebrated another special milestone as one chapter of our "Learn & Earn" program came to a close. When this journey first began, many of the women were still expecting their babies. Today, those same little ones joyfully run through the graduation celebration as energetic two-year-olds.
Over the past two years, these mothers have grown together through educational classes, practical parenting lessons, Bible studies, birthdays, picnics, holiday celebrations, camps, and countless conversations filled with encouragement and friendship.
The Learn & Earn program provides mothers with practical education while allowing them to earn points that can be exchanged for baby essentials, helping families meet real needs while investing in long-term growth.
But perhaps the greatest gift has been community as women who once felt alone have found friendships, moms who questioned their abilities have discovered confidence, and families who arrived carrying fear have found hope rooted in Christ.
As one season ended, we celebrated not only everything these women had learned, but also the relationships that continue long after graduation.
Finding Rest, Encouragement, and Community
This month also included a beautiful gathering created especially for mothers. Inside the warm atmosphere of a local church, mothers gathered to enjoy coffee, sweet treats, flowers, heartfelt conversation, and Biblical encouragement. For many, these gatherings provide a safe place to breathe, to laugh, pray, and be reminded that they are seen, loved, and never walking alone.
We are grateful for every church that opens its doors, every volunteer who prepares these gatherings, and every woman who says "yes" to accepting support during a difficult season of life.
Our prayer is that each meeting fills hearts with peace, renewed strength, and fresh encouragement for the journey ahead.
Alevtyna: Choosing Life Against All Odds

Perhaps no story captures the heart of this month's ministry more than Alevtyna's.
Originally from Dnipro, Alevtyna and her family were forced to relocate to Lviv because of the war. Already raising two daughters, she soon found herself facing another unimaginable challenge.
During her third pregnancy, doctors repeatedly delivered devastating medical reports and strongly recommended terminating her pregnancy. Instead, Alevtyna and her husband chose to believe that their unborn son deserved a chance at life.
For nearly six months, Alevtyna remained on strict bed rest while her husband carried the responsibility of supporting the family as they adjusted to life in a new city.
Everything changed after Alevtyna discovered Save a Life Lviv through a community outreach announcement on social media.
After connecting with the Life Center, she quickly became part of a community that surrounded her with practical, emotional, and spiritual support.
Throughout her pregnancy, she received food assistance, humanitarian aid, educational resources, parenting classes, online lessons, and support groups. She completed both our Miracle Within Me pregnancy course and the Learn & Earn program.
Before her son was born, our team celebrated her with a baby shower and provided a baby box filled with essential supplies. More importantly, she found something she desperately needed: Hope.
Looking back, Alevtyna shares,
"The lessons helped me recover emotionally, find like-minded women, and realize that I am not alone. The friendships, encouragement, and practical parenting advice have been invaluable. The Learn & Earn program also provided meaningful financial support for our family."
Today, her healthy baby boy, Daniil, is thriving.
Alevtyna continues participating in educational classes, English lessons, mothers' groups, and church activities. She now encourages other women facing difficult circumstances to seek help, reminding them that they are not alone.
Her story beautifully reflects the mission of every Life Center. We cannot erase war. We cannot remove every hardship. But together, we can ensure that no mother walks through those hardships alone.
